DARK THEME

What should my next project be that would be useful and life changing for you guys?

I have no ideas and my Python Quick Engine is still not in the explore section, I thought that would be useful but no one is using it, I like to use python and microscript those are the best languages here.

Make a plugin that allows you to integrate vscode

The last comment, well that might be life changing for some. But I don't vscode.

I think you are good at understanding other peoples code, that's a good skill. I myself morphed Meowsy's adventure into something else, way back. Coming up with something new is the thing. I've played with the common game types, they have been all done and it takes a lot to recreate but not so much to redo.

So I am working on a 3d world that doesn't require raytracing, it's fake but easier. It involves getting panoramic model views with alpha, so you can see the object from say, 12 - 24 views. Then it's just getting distance and location, and drawing the farthest first.

But I don't have a fast way to make models and get views, Blender is way to slow, so I have created a triangle mesh project to see if that works.

I am looking to do cooperative projects, as well.

mrderry it does not answer my question I know what you mean, yes I understand most of the projects in microStudio! And AJiscool that would be amazing but like mrderry said it probably only helps certain people. I need something life changing for most here right now!

Perhaps it's simply a well-made and complete game. I've seen so many projects on Microstudio, but they're almost all the same:

  • Mathematical stuff that only a professional programmer will understand
  • Plugins that are very complex to use or don't look very appealing, like the Quick Engine bug when hitting a wall on the left
  • Copies of "game tests" that are decent, like all those copies of Meowy's Adventure where only the sprites and maps are changed
  • Games with poorly implemented mechanics that sometimes become unplayable
  • More mathematical stuff or simulators of things that would only run on a NASA-level PC
  • Jam games that are simple but good, but could be better with more time
  • Some games that are half-finished, but could also be improved with more time, since some mechanics are strange

What I'm trying to say is that you rarely see a complete game, a good game, a I want it to be complete, bug-free, and enjoyable to play. I'm not saying it has to be a game that revolutionizes the world, but it should demonstrate that MicroStudio is capable of more

And I mean a game you can play for hours, not one where you're stuck in a loop for several hours because it's a mobile game

You have a point A198_, but ShadowedVisions I think you could make a unique project or game that could help people.

Like something new that microStudio does not have yet? Something you can use your JavaScript and Python knowledge in microScript?

I was thinking of a library but no one uses them and that makes me sad so I probably want to make a template or a game, but let me know what you guys think
