User-written addons

This is the suggestion to end all suggestions, because it would allow people to unofficially implement their own suggestions as addons/extensions/plugins. My idea is to have a script or set of scripts that is loaded on certain microStudio pages to extend its capability. For example, there could be an addon for a "Favorites" tab or code completion. It may also require an interface for ease of use, such as storing custom user data, running restricted code in the cloud, or quickly creating new menu items and HTML pages. It could be sandboxed as well, like how addons for Google services use Google Apps Script with certain interactions available. One possibility is to use Deno or a sandboxed language (possibly something that compiles to WASM) in the cloud, with an interface to send information and tasks back to the client.

That would be cool. I'm already thinking about solving these problems myself. I don't know if I can do it. But I'm already having to think about it.
