This is more of a question for Gilles. Quick engine is a nice tool to have and I appreciate your work, but it's old and I believe that an update or a Quick engine 2.0 would be nice.

I tried
to modify (you could call it QuickEngine 2.0), it didn't work
to write something like my own QuickEngine from scratch, it didn't work.
I managed to translate the MicroScript code to JavaScript.
I also tried to combine the PIXI.js and Matter.js libraries, 2 times. The code works, but it's so complicated that only I understand it, and it's so badly written that I'm ashamed to show it to anyone.
Cool :D I am also trying to modify the Quick Engine for my current project, but those are only minor changes(Some new variables, or adding a map option for a background).
Though I am stil largly clueless about what I am doing cause the code of Quick is fairly complicated and criptic.
