Guys I need your guys' opinions on one feature in the next TiberScript 1.1!

So I have been working heavily on TiberScript 1.1 for a while now fixing problems and adding amazing features to TiberScript to make it easier to create games!

In 1.0, the 'archetype' was the Object-Oriented Programming for TiberScript (like microScript's 'class'), however it is long and hard to spell sometimes so I have some options for you guys:

  • Keep the 'archetype' keyword for TiberScript's Object-Oriented Programming

  • Change it to 'class' or 'type'

  • Make 'archetype', 'class' and or 'type' be the keyword for TiberScript's Object-Oriented Programming

  • OR have your own idea for TiberScript's Object-Oriented Programming

When are you gonna post a video?? T_T Also since type already exists you should do aType so it doesn't interfere with type or class

I am so sorry! I am so busy I will start posting shorts and videos in may! PROMISE! And you want to do aType? TiberScript does not have any keyword using type or class, the Object-Oriented Programming for TiberScript is archetype right now for 1.0 and for 1.1 I want to change it to something shorter! So let me know what you meant and I will use this type in my language!

Actually Why not allow both? You could make class the primary keyword but keep archetype as a deprecated alias

Perfect! I will allow class and archetype to work for the Object-Oriented Programming for TiberScript 1.1! :)
