Hi what do you guys think of my game so far (work in progress btw)

This is the first full game I am creating by myself and I'm not the greatest game dev so if you guys have any feedback based on the little I have so far please tell me like I said this game is not at all finished and right now I'm just adding core mechanics and stuff so I don't have much actual game play also if you cant see dialogue just change dialogueoff to 0 to play with the dialogue.
I think this is a good project so far. There is a glitch with one of the smoke monsters, that makes it not have a hitbox for some reason.
@codecat1 Thank You my code isn't great so it has trouble detecting it I just don't know how to fix it.
I always enjoy seeing these type of side-scrolling projects. IDK, they always seem amazing!

Thank you but I don't think its that great also as long as you credit me in your project you use this in you can just directly use my dialogue code.
