THE PLAN FOR THE NEXT MICRO JAM | ARE YOU READY FOR ANOTHER ONE?
The plan for the next micro jam isn't set in stone just yet, but I'd love it if more people joined in next time. Any judges or contestants can re-enter for the same, or a different position.
WHEN WILL THE NEXT MICRO JAM BE?
The next jam will most likely start some time this or next month. I'd like to have the opportunity open for longer, so more people can join if they wish to.
HOW DO I GET INVITED TO A MICRO JAM?
The main way to receive an invitation is to simply ask! Simply comment what position you'd like to apply for, and I'll invite you! If there are no judge positions available, I'll invite you, but you won't be able to be in a judge role this time around.
HOW MANY JUDGE POSITIONS ARE THERE AVAILABLE?
There are a total of 4-5 judges for every micro jam. However, only 2-3 positions will be available for new judges, considering any judges that would like to judge again, along with a friend of mine (TheSomewhatPlaytester).
HOW FREQUENTLY WILL MICRO JAMS BE TAKING PLACE?
A Micro Jam will most likely take place every 1-1.5 months. I promise you I will not be abandoning this until I forget my Microstudio password (I will most definitely be known as codecat2, or 1_codecat_1 if that happens, so I call dibs on those names).
IS THERE A LIMIT ON HOW MANY CONTESTANTS THERE CAN BE?

Thanks I'm glad you noticed (I'm sorry I just like to act funny online to seem cool to random strangers that are a lot cooler and funnier than me).
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE GOOD MUSIC OR ART?
I will help any contestants with art or music. In my opinion, we should all have fun with this. It's hard to have fun when you're struggling. You can even ask other contestants! I will also be simple coding libraries for any contestants that just so happen to have a very specific problem that I am within the skill level of solving.
WHAT IF I WANT TO JUDGE, BUT I ALSO WANT TO PARTICIPATE AS WELL?
We ran into this same question last game jam. Any and all judges may participate, however, their games WILL NOT be judged, rather showcased in a post called "ARE YOU READY?|The results are in!" or something similar. It will include a list of games, their placing in the competition, their reasoning for being placed there, and a list of judge-submitted games.

As any repeating contestants/judges will notice upon accepting the invitation, there are multiple pages for talking, all in a "communication" folder. These pages will include a "notifications" page, updated every day or so, a "game submissions" page, which is what it sounds like, a "chatting" page, and a "requesting_help" page.
NOTE: make sure to input your username into the list of contestants/judges in the "users" page, located in the "general" folder to make it easier to keep track of everyone.
You may sign up by requesting a position in the comments. (judge positions are first come, first serve). Everyone that participated last time will be invited again.
