Hello, World!
Hello, everybody!
I am a long time software developer, now semi-retired. I started learning to program back in 1982 on a Commodore VIC-20. I learned from books and magazines, and as things started to click, learned things on my own.
I retired from programming as a job in April because software development just isn't fun like it used to be. I missed the days where I could flow for 6 to 8 hours and have a new game running.
While on quarantine for COVID-19 a month ago, I started researching how to program games in web browsers, and ultimately found microStudio. I've been playing with it off and on since then, and now have my first microStudio game in the works!
I have to say I'm really liking this environment; the tools, demos, documentation, and community.
It's made programming fun for me again!
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and give microStudio a shout out.
