Guys, I actually need your help!

Someone reached me out saying the launching the games for Hollow the series is not working on itch.io, and I tried too and it did not work either, it just stayed in a black screen, but if you try my Hollow the Series in microStudio here, it still works, I have not touched the project at all since I put it in itch.io but it somehow is not working on itch.io anymore, does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Wow unexpected Tiberius maybe it has to do with the system and policy's of itch.io from preventing other sites to come in your game? I have no idea it don't work for me on itch.io.

Are you sure if you just put the .zip of your microstudio HTML project in itch.io?

If you did do only the .zip file that is good, if not do it with only the .zip file.

If nothing of this works try opening the index.html file in the .zip file, if this shows a blackscreen try it in diffrent browsers. if none of them work or you dont have diffrent browsers just contact help@itch.io

If it does work in one of your browsers try uploading it from that browser, still the whole .zip file NOT only index.html if you do that it will run the code but not have any sprites!

O, and also itch.io can't open websites! That is why it showes a black screen when you open one of the games! It can't put external websites in there websites! If you want this to work you cant open the games directly but you have to set the URL of the website to your miscrostudio game with this code.

system.javascript('window.location.href = "https://put your link here";')

this will open your game for example

system.javascript('window.location.href = "https://microstudio.io/cooldev/coolgame";')
