expected expression

hey I was wondering why i get a error saying that saying that expected expression when I try to run if gamepad.RIGHT then x += end

It's probably because there isn't an expression (number) after the x+=.

Are you trying to increase x by one? Because if you do, you need to type x += 1 to change the value.
