General forum etiquette

Hello everyone, it's time for another one of my neverending posts.

Today, we are gonna be talking about general etiquette inside of the forums of Microstudio, and Microstudio itself.

Well, first off, and this goes for this full page. Do not, heck, never post Not-Safe-For-Work (NSFW) content anywhere, in any shape or form. This includes sprites, images, posters, icons, profile pictures, text, etc. Posting such content will likely result in account termination.

Use some common sense. Crazy ask, I know. But insulting other people, stealing projects of others, or even deleting progress when working on projects together are obviously no gos. This also includes spreading false rumors or trying to ruin the reputation of others, no matter the reason.

Do NEVER necropost forum posts. This sounds absurd, but doing do anyways can be disruptive for everyone on the platform, no matter the reason. In most, if not all cases, it is better to create a new post.

Don't steal projects. I'll keep it fairly light. This one should be pretty clear as to why, mainly copyright issues, etc. This includes mods / revamps.

Avoid unnecessary posts. This one is probably the most ridiculous in the list yet, and at worst will get you a firm bonk on the head. If you can keep it inside one post, do so. No need to create a separate post.

Anyways, that's all for now. Remember to check https://microstudio.dev/community/resources/a-post-regarding-copyright/1668/ for stuff regarding copyright.

Yours,

- My take on unnecessary posts -

If you cannot find any general information in the docs and no-one in the forums have made any mention on your problem then by all means, make a post in the help pannel; But if your problem is easily re-searchable ( Something like how you would make a button, or how collisions work ), then its best not to fill up the forums with posts that can be easily avoided by some simple research.

!- It's not like it's a massive deal, and obviously this is just my personal opinion, but I think it's just something you should think about when posting forums. -!

( Also necroposting is just reckless and very disruptive. )

Thank you, that was what I was trying to say!
